- £24,796 per annum (pro rata)
- Part-time position (10 hours per week)

About the Role
The Children and Families Department embraces our "Our Nottinghamshire Approach", focusing on strengths-based support for children, young people, and families. Based at Clayfields House Secure Unit, this role is part of a dedicated team ensuring a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for vulnerable young people aged 10–18.
As a Domestic Assistant, you’ll contribute to maintaining high hygiene standards, supporting the smooth operation of this secure residential setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain all areas to a spotless and safe standard.
- Perform deep cleaning and address spillages or emergency cleaning needs.
- Refill consumables and organise cleaning supplies.
- Operate equipment including industrial vacuums and floor machines.
- Assist with stock control, record-keeping, and reporting equipment faults.
- Comply with Health & Safety protocols, including COSHH and risk assessments.
- Collaborate flexibly with the facilities team to support service delivery.

Requirements
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Desirable: Experienced in cleaning or domestic services.
- Willing to apply hygiene best practices, cleaner maintenance methods, and equipment use.
- A good team player with strongcommunication skills and a positive attitude.
- Prepared to uphold high cleanliness and safety standards.
- Open to relevant training.
