Contract Type: Term-time Only

Working Pattern: 16.25hrs per week; 2:45pm – 6:00pm Monday to Thursday, 1:45pm – 5:00pm Friday.

Salary: Grade S1, OHCAT London Fringe Business Support Scale, FTE £24,983 - £26,129 p/a, Actual Salary: £9,656.53 - £10,099.48 p/a

About Us:

Brantridge School is a nurturing and inclusive special needs school dedicated to supporting students from 6–11 with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, autism, and associated learning difficulties. Located in the beautiful Sussex countryside, we are proud to provide a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for pupils and staff alike.

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and proactive Facilities Domestic Cleaner to join our friendly site team. You will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across the school, ensuring hygiene standards are consistently high for pupils, staff, and visitors.

Duties include:

  • General cleaning of classrooms, therapy rooms, corridors, offices, toilets, and communal areas
  • Restocking supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
  • Safe use of cleaning products and equipment, in line with COSHH regulations
  • Reporting any maintenance or health and safety issues promptly
  • Adhering to safeguarding and confidentiality procedures at all times

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Takes pride in their work and pays attention to detail
  • Can work independently and as part of a team
  • Is punctual, dependable, and trustworthy
  • Has previous cleaning experience (desirable but not essential)
  • Understands the importance of cleanliness in a school setting
  • Is committed to the safeguarding of children and young people
