Domestic Assistant Contract – Osprey Court Care Home
Osprey Court Care Home is a purpose-built 60-bed care home located in Pitcrofton Village, adjacent to Alyth, Perth and Kinross. We provide Residential, Nursing, Dementia, and Respite care in a modern, high-quality environment where our team can build strong relationships, develop skills, and make a meaningful impact through supportive, welcoming care.
Job Overview
As Domestic Assistant, you’ll be vital in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that uphbours wellbeing, dignity, and comfort for our residents. This is a hands-on role where meticulous attention to detail and high standards directly enhance daily life.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning residents’ rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas, ensuring they meet the highest hygiene and presentation standards.
- Supporting laundry services to handle personal belongings with care and ensure correct return.
- Following infection control, health & safety, and cleaning procedures while working effectively with the wider team.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all areas.
- Ensure adherence to hygiene and infection control guidelines.
- Handle laundry tasks with care and organisational precision.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold safety, presentation, and environmental standards.
Salary & Benefits
- £12.71 per hour (Full-time or Part-time roles available).
- Flexible shift work.

What We Are Looking For
Ideal candidates will bring:

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- (Preferred) Knowledge of hygiene and infection control methods (not always essential).
- Previous experience (though not mandatory).
