Domestic Bursar, Green Templeton College

Green Templeton College is a friendly, progressive, and international graduate College within the University of Oxford. Formed through the merger of Green College and Templeton College in 2008, it is a distinctive college that makes new traditions rather than defending existing ones.

Based on its Woodstock Road campus surrounding the Radcliffe Observatory, the College brings together approximately 650 students, 250 fellows, and 90 staff. It has an inclusive, egalitarian, and collaborative culture, and students, fellows, staff, alumni, and guests are welcomed as part of a shared community.

Green Templeton College is looking to appoint a new Domestic Bursar. Reporting to the Bursar and working closely with the Principal and other members of the Executive Management Group, the postholder will lead and manage the operational teams that provide a wide range of services for the College.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
