Domestic Cleaner

Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site Domestic Cleaner role based in Newbury. The Domestic Cleaner will visit clients’ homes to carry out general cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, and wiping surfaces. Responsibilities also include emptying bins, tidying common areas, and following any agreed client-specific instructions.

The role involves working independently, managing time effectively, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Domestic Cleaners are expected to be reliable, respectful of clients’ property, and able to communicate clearly about schedules and tasks.
Qualifications
- Practical domestic cleaning skills, including safe use of household cleaning products and tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and cleaning checklists.
- Good time management and reliability, with the ability to work independently without direct supervision.
- Clear communication skills for interacting professionally with clients and the company.
- Basic level of physical fitness sufficient for regular bending, lifting, and standing.
- Previous experience in domestic or commercial cleaning is beneficial but not essential.
- Right to work in the UK and ability to travel to clients’ homes in Newbury and nearby areas.
- Willingness to undergo reference checks and, where required, background checks.
