The Vacancy
McCarthy Stone are recruiting for a Domestic Assistant to join the team at our Retirement Living Plus development, Amelia Court in Worthing, West Sussex.
Built in 2009, Amelia Court is a Retirement Living Plus development that consists of 63 apartments with the over 70's in mind, providing excellent on-site facilities and set within beautiful grounds. This is not traditional care, this is better!
- Hourly rate: £12.85 per hour
- Hours: 20 per week - The shift pattern will vary between the hours of 12:30pm and 6:30pm you must be flexible to cover shifts between these times.

About The Role
As a Domestic Assistant, you will be responsible for the domestic support and housekeeping, of our homeowner apartments, their laundry service and cleaning or the development’s communal areas. You will support in the Bistro or Restaurant during service times and provide lifestyle services to our homeowners. These include, chaperoning homeowners to medical appointments, and/or other community related services, or simply offering social support. There are usually opportunities for overtime within nearby developments as well.

About you:
- A caring personality and the want to make a difference to people’s lives!
- Experience in a customer care or service role within a similar environment, such as health & social care, hospitality, retail, domestic services or even caring for a family member.
- Considerate, patient, and professional
- Clear and confident communication skills
- Be friendly and approachable
