About the Role

Seeking a full-time Domestic Surveyor to join our team. You will conduct asbestos surveys across domestic properties, covering all aspects from site inspections, sampling, and risk assessments—in compliance with legislation and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct asbestos surveys in domestic properties, including:
    • On-site inspections and sampling
    • Risk assessments aligned with relevant regulations
  • Produce clear, accurate survey reports—ensuring full documentation in a timely manner
  • Update records, maintain compliance logs, and follow internal procedures
  • Communicate with clients and residents professionally, explaining findings and providing tailored advice
  • Support asbestos management plans and coordinate internally
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols (PPE and working practices)

Requirements

  • Strong surveying skills: Experience with domestic inspections, sampling, and data collection
  • Regulatory knowledge: Proficiency in asbestos regulations, safe working methods in occupied homes, and compliance standards
  • Reporting and compliance: Ability to produce detailed written reports and maintain records digitally (survey software familiarisation essential)
  • Communication: Outstanding interpersonal skills, with experience engaging professionals sensitively (clients/residents included)
  • Organisation and attention to detail: Independent workbook management with precise deadlines and record-keeping
  • Mobility: Full UK driving licence with willingness for local travel across Liverpool and surrounding areas
  • Preferred industry qualifications: Certification in asbestos surveying (e.g., BOHS P402 or equivalent is advantageous)
  • Experience: Previous involvement in asbestos surveying or compliance (not strict requirement, but beneficial for candidates)
  • Commitment to safety and standards: Ongoing dedication to health and safety, continuous learning, and upholding professional compliance procedures
