Location: Anlaby, Hull Job Type: Permanent, Full-time Hours: 30 hours per week (includes alternate weekends) Sponsorship: Not currently available

Key Responsibilities

As our Domestic/Laundry Assistant, you’ll ensure premium hygiene standards and enhance the residences’ everyday atmosphere by fulfilling the following duties:

Laundry Duties

  • Collect, sort, and launder various items including clothing, bed linens, and towels.
  • Operate washing machines, dryers, and ironing/pressing equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Fold, iron, and store laundered items appropriately.
  • Label or identify personal laundry as required.
  • Adhere strictly to infection control procedures.
  • Report faulty laundry equipment or maintenance issues to management.

Domestic/Cleaning Duties

  • Clean designated areas including bedrooms, bathrooms, communal spaces, and kitchens.
  • Conduct regular vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and surface disinfection.
  • Remove and dispose of rubbish, and replenish essentials like soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
  • Follow tight cleaning schedules while maintaining hygiene and safety standards.
  • Immediately notify the supervisor of any pest sightings, hazards, or needed repairs within premises.
