What is Domiciliary Care?
Domiciliary care, also known as home care, offers essential assistance to individuals within the comfort of their own homes, supporting daily tasks, personal care, and more complex needs. This service enables them to maintain their well-being and quality of life while staying in a familiar environment.
We take a fully personalised approach, placing each client’s unique needs and preferences at the core of our service. From the outset, we invest time in understanding their routines, choices, and specific requirements, ensuring they receive care that is tailored to their individual wishes.
Domiciliary Care Duties
The role of a domiciliary carer is varied, encompassing everything from offering companionship and helping with household tasks to providing specialised care that meets the unique needs of each individual.
Responsibilities
As this job involves traveling to different clients, a valid driving licence is required. Unlike many companies, we appreciate your commitment by reimbursing both travel time and mileage. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing complex care
- Assisting with personal care
- Carrying out household cleaning
- Supporting hydration
- Preparing meals
- Reminding about medication
- Offering mobility support
- Running errands
- Providing companionship
- Offering emergency assistance
- Helping with dressing
