I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What is Domiciliary Care?
Domiciliary care, or home care, provides vital support to individuals in the comfort of their own homes, helping with daily activities, personal care, and more complex tasks. This support allows them to maintain their well-being and quality of life while remaining in familiar surroundings.
Our approach is fully personalised, with each client’s needs and preferences at the heart of everything we do. From the very beginning, we take the time to understand their routines, preferences, and specific requirements, ensuring they receive care that aligns with their wishes.
Domiciliary Care Duties
A domiciliary carer’s role is diverse, ranging from providing companionship and household assistance to delivering more specialised care tailored to individual needs.
Responsibilities
As this position requires traveling between clients, a valid driving licence is essential. Unlike many companies, we recognise your dedication by reimbursing both travel time and mileage. Key responsibilities include:
- Complex care
- Personal care
- Household cleaning
- Hydration support
- Meal preparation
- Medication reminders
- Mobility assistance
- Running errands
- Companionship
- Emergency support
- Assistance with dressing
- Encouraging social engagement
