Optical Assistant – Domiciliary Services – Specsavers Home Visits
Important: Only candidates with previous Optical Assistant experience and a full UK driving licence will be considered.
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, friendly, and reliable Optical Assistant to join Specsavers Home Visits Nottingham, covering North and North East Lincolnshire, with the possibility of covering Chesterfield and Worksop if based in North Nottinghamshire/Worksop/North Lincs.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality professional eye care to vulnerable patients in their own homes.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining clinical excellence in dispensing.
- Join a small, supportive team where collaboration and personal growth are encouraged.

What’s Included?
Employment Terms
- Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 8.30 AM to 5.30 PM (40 hours/week)
- No weekends, evenings, or Bank Holidays observed
- Salary:
- Starting salary: £26,853 per annum
- Cert 3 qualified? Salary scales up to £27,500
- Benefits:
- Company car or £3,000 annual car allowance
- Performance-based bonus (up to £3,000/year)
- 33 days of paid leave (25 annual days + 8 Bank Holidays + 1 extra Birthday day)

Key Requirements
- Compulsory:
- Proven Optical Assistant experience must be demonstrated.
- Full UK driver’s licence required for domiciliary visits.
- Desirable Traits:
