Company Description

Window Nation LTD is a local home improvement company specializing in quality windows, doors, and conservatories for homeowners in Peterborough and surrounding areas. The team helps customers upgrade security, improve energy efficiency, and modernize their homes with a range of products including composite, French, patio, and bifold doors, as well as fascias, soffits, guttering, and cladding. The company is known for clear advice, professional service, and reliable installations delivered by a trusted local team.

Window Nation LTD proudly serves communities across Peterborough, Grantham, Boston, King’s Lynn, Cambridge, St Neots, Bedford, Northampton, Market Harborough, and Melton Mowbray.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Door Canvasser role based in Peterborough. The Door Canvasser will visit residential neighborhoods, introduce Window Nation LTD’s products and services, and engage homeowners in informative, friendly conversations.

Day-to-day tasks include:

  • Knocking on doors
  • Explaining home improvement options
  • Answering basic questions
  • Gathering contact details or booking appointments for the sales team

The role involves following set routes, meeting daily and weekly outreach targets, and accurately recording interactions in company systems. The Door Canvasser will work closely with the local team, participate in regular training, and represent the company professionally in all customer-facing activities.

Qualifications

  • Strong canvassing skills with experience in door-to-door outreach or similar field-based roles
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication abilities to build rapport quickly and speak clearly and confidently with homeowners
  • Customer service skills, including the ability to listen, respond to questions, and provide helpful, respectful support
  • Readiness to participate in training and apply feedback to improve performance and product knowledge

Additional Beneficial Qualifications

  • Familiarity with home improvement products
  • Basic sales or lead-generation experience
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
