Role Description

This contract role is for Door-to-Door Independent Field Sales Advisers who will operate on a self-employed basis in a remote capacity, managing their own schedule and territory. Day-to-day tasks include:

Advisers will conduct needs-based consultations, present pricing and service comparisons, and complete customer sign-ups accurately and securely. The role also involves:

  • Following compliance guidelines
  • Maintaining detailed records of visits and sales
  • Attending virtual training or briefing sessions as needed

Independent advisers are expected to proactively generate leads, build local relationships, and consistently meet agreed performance targets while representing Ianua Field Sales Ltd in a professional manner.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service abilities to build trust and handle a wide range of household interactions.
  • Clear verbal communication and active listening skills to explain complex broadband and energy information in simple terms.
  • Sales skills, including negotiation, persuasion, and closing techniques, with a focus on ethical, needs-based selling.
  • Ability to train and be trained, including openness to coaching, self-development, and sharing best practices with peers.
  • Comfort working independently in a self-employed, field-based environment, with good time management and self-motivation.
  • Basic digital literacy for using mobile devices, CRM tools, or online platforms to record visits and submit sales.
  • Previous door-to-door, field sales, or utility sales experience is beneficial but not essential.
  • Reliable transport and willingness to travel within assigned areas, along with eligibility to work in the UK.
