Doorman
As a Doorman, you will contribute to the guest journey from welcome to farewell and ensure guests have an extraordinary stay. You will be responsible to ensure safekeeping of all guest vehicles and well-organised management of hotel forecourt.
Key Information:
- Role: Doorman
- Salary: up to £27,500 p/a + Incentive
- Shift Pattern: 12 hr (2 on and 2 off)
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist guests on arrival and departure, ensuring professional and courteous service
- Manage the hotel forecourt, directing traffic and keeping entrances clear
- Arrange taxis for guests and assist with luggage as needed
- Ensure the front door is always attended as the first and last point of guest contact
- Maintain awareness of guests, visitors, and any suspicious items in the vicinity
- Safely manage and store guest car keys
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the front entrance at all times
- Handle parking charges and payments in line with hotel procedures
- Support Porter and Desk Concierge duties during breaks or when required
- Stay knowledgeable about hotel facilities, daily events, and emergency procedures
- Report maintenance issues, concerns, or guest complaints promptly
- Follow all Health & Safety, fire safety, and security procedures
- Carry out additional duties as requested by the Concierge or Management team
