Job Description
The Peninsula London is delighted to announce that we are seeking a Doorperson, reporting to the Head Concierge. This role is responsible for providing impeccable guest and resident service with a focus on arrival and departing experiences ensuring genuine recognition. The role is also critical in managing the traffic and controlling the door and flow of the forecourt. First and lasting impressions will set the tone for the overall guest experience, and we are reliant on the Doorperson for this experience. The Peninsula Hotels are synonymous with luxury and high levels of service, and this position will contribute to the service experience that our guests have become accustomed to.

Key Accountabilities
- Possess in-depth knowledge of the hotel, immediate community, and London landmarks.
- Welcome guests in the forecourt and assist guests in getting in and out of vehicles.
- Maintain close guest contact, and when receiving guest feedback, ensure to elevate feedback to the Management team for recovery to exceed guest expectations, in keeping with the Peninsula Service Principles.
- Assist guests in arranging transportation to and from the airport/station or any destination.
- Ability to give information and directions about London to guests and to drivers.

General Requirements
- This role will require to have UK full clear driving license.
- Thorough knowledge of customer service techniques, with a passion to deliver excellent experiences.
- Confident conversationalist always engaging with guests and colleagues.
- Excellent time management and organization, ability to multi-task, highly adaptable, naturally positive.
- Flexibility and capability of working under pressure.
