As Doorperson, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a lasting impression through a warm, gracious and professional welcome. You will play a key role in ensuring a seamless arrival and departure experience, delivering attentive service while maintaining the elegance and presence synonymous with the St. Regis brand. This role is ideal for a confident and personable individual who takes pride in guest interaction and thrives in a luxury hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests on arrival with warmth and professionalism, creating an exceptional first impression
  • Assist with opening doors, managing guest flow and supporting arrivals and departures
  • Coordinate with the Porter and Front Office teams to ensure smooth luggage handling and guest transitions
  • Provide information about the hotel, its facilities and local area when required
  • Monitor the hotel entrance, maintaining order, cleanliness and security at all times
  • Assist guests with transportation arrangements, including taxis and private vehicles
  • Maintain a visible and approachable presence outside the hotel, ensuring guest comfort and safety
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly with a friendly and courteous approach
  • Support operational requests from Front Office and Concierge teams
  • Uphold brand standards in appearance, behaviour and service delivery at all times

  • Previous experience in a guest‑facing role, ideally within a luxury hotel or hospitality environment
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high presentation and service standards
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑standards environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and engaging manner
  • A proactive mindset, with the ability to anticipate guest needs and respond with confidence
  • Impeccable personal presentation, reflecting the elegance of a luxury brand
  • A collaborative approach, working closely with Reception, Concierge and Porter teams
  • Strong situational awareness, ensuring guest safety and smooth traffic flow at all times
  • Physical capability to meet the operational requirements of the role
