Job Description – Consultant (.NET + DevOps, AWS)
Location: Glasgow, Scotland, UK
Work Mode: Hybrid – 2 days per week in the office
Contract Duration: 6 months
Start Date: 21 July 2026
End Date: 19 October 2026
We are looking for an experienced Consultant with strong .NET, AWS, and DevOps expertise to join a development and cloud engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in .NET Core, microservices, event-driven architecture, RESTful APIs, AWS, CI/CD, and Terraform.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop applications using.NET Core and C#.
- Build and maintain microservices architectures using event-driven design patterns.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, Web APIs, and WCF services.
- Work with Entity Framework using Code First and ADO.NET with SQL Server.
- Develop and maintain ASP.NET web applications using.NET Framework 4.7+.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps/TFS.
- Perform unit testing using NUnit.
- Work within Agile software development methodologies.
- Support cloud deployments and infrastructure using AWS.
- Implement DevOps practices, automation, and CI/CD processes.
- Develop and manage infrastructure using Terraform.

Required Skills

- 5+ years of experience in.NET /.NET Core development.
- Strong experience in C# and ASP.NET.
- Experience with Microservices Architecture and Event-Driven Design Patterns.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, Web API, and WCF.
- Experience with Entity Framework (Code First).
- Strong experience with ADO.NET and SQL Server.
- Experience with ASP.NET and.NET Framework 4.7 or higher.
- Strong knowledge of Git.
- Experience with Azure DevOps/TFS pipelines.
- Experience with NUnit and unit testing.
- Good understanding of AWS, DevOps, CI/CD, and Terraform.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
