Location: Office-based
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
Overtime: Paid

Join a Growing Structural Steel Specialist
We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and expanding structural steelwork company seeking an experienced Tekla Draughtsperson to join their technical team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a wide variety of structural steelwork and architectural metalwork projects across the UK, producing high-quality fabrication models and drawings for prestigious commercial and industrial developments.

The Role
As a Tekla Draughtsperson, you'll be responsible for:
- Producing accurate General Arrangement (GA), fabrication, and assembly drawings using Tekla Structures.
- Developing detailed 3D fabrication models for structural steel and architectural metalwork.
- Interpreting architectural and structural engineering drawings, specifications, and design information.
- Generating material lists, reports, and fabrication information.
- Liaising with engineers, architects, project managers, and production teams to ensure projects are delivered accurately and on schedule.
- Ensuring all drawings comply with current British Standards, project specifications, and industry best practice.
- Managing multiple projects while maintaining exceptional levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

About You
To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:
- Strong experience using Tekla Structures (typically 5+ years, although candidates with slightly less experience and the right ability will also be considered).
- Experience producing fabrication drawings within the structural steel industry.
- A solid understanding of structural steelwork and architectural metalwork.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience working on UK projects and producing drawings to British Standards.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- The ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team.
