About the Role

The Draftperson must possess advanced expertise in AutoCAD and Revit. The primary responsibilities include:

  • Creating detailed technical drawings and 3D models with precision, adhering to industry standards.
  • Collaborating with design and engineering teams while maintaining flexibility to support broader project needs.
  • Contributing proactively to the success of the wider team.

Key Responsibilities

The Draftperson will be responsible for:

  • Developing precise 2D drawings and 3D models in AutoCAD and Revit
  • Creating, modifying, and coordinating detailed construction drawings
  • Utilising Revit to review and adjust BIM models
  • Collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers to interpret requirements
  • Ensuring consistency in design and compliance with project standards
  • Reviewing and verifying drawings and models for accuracy
  • Maintaining organized records and tracking revisions effectively
  • Assisting in drafting standards and procedures
  • Supporting document control and project workflows

Requirements

Essential Criteria

✅ Right to work in the UK ✅ Associate degree or certification in Drafting/Modelling, CAD/BIM Technology, or related field ✅ Minimum 3 years of experience in drafting and modelling (with a focus on AutoCAD and Revit) ✅ Proficient in:

  • AutoCAD (2D/3D drafting and modelling)
  • Revit (BIM modelling and coordination) ✅ Knowledge of UK industry standards and best practices for architecture/construction drafting ✅ Attention to detail and scrupulous accuracy ✅ Strong communication skills and team collaboration ✅ Ability to manage prioritisation and deadlines ✅ Experience working on construction sites, preferably in healthcare projects ✅ Strong design and technical interpretation skills ✅ Continuous improvement mindset

Desirable Criteria

🔹 Knowledge of ISO19650 and CDEs in construction 🔹 Experience with additional CAD tools or BIM environments 🔹 Familiarity with UK building codes and regulations 🔹 Proficiency in BIM360/Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) 🔹 Knowledge of ISO 9001 (Quality Management) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management)
