Responsibilities
- Operate specialist drainage equipment safely and efficiently.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Liaise with customers professionally, providing updates and resolving queries.
- Identify and resolve common drainage issues, including:
- Blockages
- Pipe defects
- Root ingress
- Infiltration
- Use high-pressure water jetting systems to clean and clear drains, sewers, and pipes.
- Assist with waste removal to maintain wastewater system efficiency.
- Conduct routine vehicle/equipment checks to ensure operational readiness.
- Support CCTV survey teams in inspecting underground assets.
- Respond to emergency callouts, including flooding and urgent drainage repairs.
- Complete work documentation, including job sheets, risk assessments, and method statements (with guidance).
Requirements
Essential:
- Full UK driving licence (maximum of 6 penalty points).
- Valid CSCS card (or commitment to obtain).
- Practical, hands-on mindset and keen interest in drainage/waste management.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic IT skills and willingness to learn new systems.

- High-Pressure Water Jetting Card
- Confined Space Training (Medium or High Risk)
License/Certification (Preferred)
- Driving Licence (required)
- CSCS Card (preferred)

- Confined Space Training (Medium or High Risk) (preferred)
