Looking to take real ownership of drainage design within a respected Manchester consultancy? This Drainage Engineer opportunity offers technical variety, progression, and exposure to diverse North West projects.
Company Overview
A well-established civil and environmental consultancy is seeking a Drainage Engineer to strengthen its Manchester water services team. As a Drainage Engineer, you will support public and private sector schemes, delivering drainage and flood risk solutions from concept through to detailed design.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver drainage designs and strategies from inception to detail
- Design SuDS, surface water, and foul drainage systems
- Produce drawings using AutoCAD and related tools
- Support planning submissions and regulatory approvals
- Liaise with clients and multidisciplinary teams
- Share technical knowledge and support junior staff
Candidate Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Science
- Minimum three years drainage and flood risk experience
- Experience with SuDS and drainage strategies
- Proficient in AutoCAD, GIS exposure beneficial
- Strong communication and proactive approach
