Drainage engineer

We provide award winning services to the clean water, wastewater, gas, multi utilities and the highways sector. We are passionate about working alongside our client’s and partners to maintain the utility services essential to modern life throughout the UK.
Location: Andover, Hampshire. Hours: 50 hours per week - Monday to Friday, 6am-4pm. Salary: £37,000-£44,000 per annum (depending on experience and tickets) Overtime paid at X1.5 on top of base salary.
About the Role:
Working on a variety of different reactive contracts, you will be driving our gully wagons, working closely with an operative to clean along the highways. You will be working closely with a HGV driver to clean along the highways, up and down the country You will be assisting with getting in and out of the cab to conduct work accordingly, so a hands on approach is needed and a willingness to get stuck in; and you will be responsible for using a company tablet on a daily basis.
You will be outdoors for the majority of your working day - so a love for the great outdoors is also a must!

Use of a tablet is also a requirement of the role; therefore, you will need to have knowledge of using them. Responsibilities – but not limited to:
You will be working closely in a team of 2 operating high specification jetting and vacumation units. Carry out remote CCTV investigations where required to assess the condition of underground pipes and sewers. Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear blockages in drains, sewers, pipes, and other wastewater systems. Liaising with customers. Updating electronical records. Ensuring safety issues are reported. Vehicle and Jetting Equipment checks Experience and qualifications required for the role:
