Are you an experienced operational leader ready to take full ownership of a high-impact division? A well-established property services organisation in London is seeking a Drainage Operations Manager to drive performance, scale a growing team, and play a central role in delivering multi-disciplinary property solutions.
The Role
As Drainage Operations Manager, you will oversee a fast-moving drainage department, managing engineers, supervisors, and coordinators while strengthening systems, processes, and commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage field-based drainage teams, ensuring delivery quality and efficiency
- Oversee end-to-end job workflows from initial enquiry through to completion and reporting
- Drive continuous improvement across processes, systems, and performance tracking
- Collaborate with other operational divisions to deliver joined-up property solutions
- Maintain strong commercial control, focusing on margin, efficiency, and cost management
- Support recruitment, training, and development to grow the team
- Ensure high standards in health & safety, compliance, and reporting
- Improve job completion rates, reduce rework, and enhance customer satisfaction

About You
To succeed as a Drainage Operations Manager, you will bring:
- Significant experience leading teams in drainage, construction, facilities, or maintenance environments
- Strong technical knowledge of drainage systems, surveys, repairs, and associated services
- Proven ability to manage reactive and planned works effectively
- Confidence working with operational systems, job management tools, or CRM platforms
- Commercial awareness with the ability to balance service delivery and profitability
- Excellent communication skills and strong leadership presence
