Reflect Productions is a Children’s Theatre Company that delivers personalised theatre-in-education drama workshops and directs children’s theatre projects across London. Role Description

This is an Autumn Term Saturday Morning, on-site Drama / Performing Arts Teacher role based in Wimbledon. The teacher will plan and deliver engaging drama and performing arts lessons and workshops for children and young people, aligned with Reflect Productions’ values and educational goals. We will be working towards a performance of Charlie and The Chocolate Factory at the end of term, so the role will include preparing acting, and musical numbers in preparation for this. The teacher will manage classroom environments, support diverse learning needs, and foster an inclusive, respectful atmosphere that encourages teamwork and self-expression. The role also involves:

  • Communicating with parents, carers, and school partners as needed
  • Ensuring clear updates about student participation and development

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong instructional skills in Teaching and Art Education.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development to create structured, age-appropriate drama programs.
  • Candidates should possess practical creative skills in Performing Arts
  • Relevant qualifications such as a degree or certification in Drama, Performing Arts, Theatre Studies, Education, or a related field are beneficial.
  • Experience working with children and young people in educational or community settings, with the ability to support a wide range of needs, ages, and backgrounds.
  • Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues, respond flexibly to changing schedules, and uphold safeguarding and child protection standards.
