Drilling Equipment Inspector

A vacancy has arisen for the position of onshore Drilling Equipment Inspector as part of our Rig Inspection Services (RIS) Team based in Aberdeen.
About the Role
The key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the duties outlined below:
- Manage day-to-day inspection workload of various drilling equipment and/or fishing tools
- Daily reporting distribution to client
- Document daily inspection checks of equipment
- Manage COSHH register for inspection department
- Liaise with third party inspectors
The Successful Candidate Must Have The Following
- The right to work in the UK
- Minimum 3 years of industry experience
- Education to High School/College
- Magnetic Particle Inspection Level II (ASNT Accepted)
- Dye Penetrant Inspection Level II (ASNT Accepted)
- Experience working to appropriate standards such as NS-2 and DS-1
- Ability to work to tight tolerances in Imperial and Metric
- Experienced in NOV Handling Equipment inspections
- Experienced in Fishing Tool inspections
- Experienced in Drilling Tool inspections
- Experienced in OCTG thread inspections
- Competent user in inspection report writing
