Drilling Store Assistant – Hamilton, Glasgow

Igne are recruiting for a Drilling Store Assistant to support our operations in Hamilton, Glasgow.
About the Role
As a Drilling Store Assistant, you will support the Drilling Store Manager in the smooth, safe, and efficient daily operation of the drilling store.
You’ll ensure all drilling equipment and consumables are received, checked, and stored correctly. Your responsibilities will include:
- Keeping everything well maintained
- Issuing and recording items as needed
- Ensuring the store stays organised and compliant with health and safety standards

Key Responsibilities
- Support daily planning and help prioritise tasks to meet changing operational needs
- Receive, sort, store and issue drilling equipment, recording all issued and returned items
- Deliver essential equipment, consumables and sundries to and from operational sites
- Maintain stock and asset records, monitor levels, replenish supplies, and prepare items for daily use
- Identify damaged or unserviceable equipment, report issues, and carry out basic repairs when trained
- Keep the store and yard clean, tidy and safe, removing hazards and maintaining clear access routes

Person Specification
- Health and Safety Awareness

- Full UK Driving License
