Job Description: 18T HGV Driver (Colchester)
We are actively looking to appoint an 18T HGV Driver, preferably with HIAB experience, to join our successful team in Colchester. If you are a hardworking, flexible individual who enjoys working as part of a team, this may be the perfect opportunity for you!

Responsibilities
As an 18T HGV Driver with JDP, your role will include:
- Efficient and safe operation of the vehicle
- Completion and timely delivery of orders to JDP customers in Colchester and surrounding areas
- Compliance with all vehicle and driving legislation
- Representation of JDP at the point of delivery to:
- Provide excellent customer service
- Uphold JDP’s strong reputation
Requirements
Essential Criteria:
- Possession of a Class C Licence
- Some Driver CPC training completed
- Digital driving licence (tachograph card)
- Digital driving licence (tachograph card): Knowledge of Health & Safety in a workplace
- Comprehensive understanding of driver procedures, including "driving hours rules & regulations"
- Ability to plan the most efficient routes for the daily delivery schedule
Desirable:
- Experience with a HIAB (training may be provided for the right candidate)
- Previous experience with FLT (Front Loading Tips)
- BIAB experience (Bonus if present)
