Job Description

As a 7.5T Driver at our new Cardiff branch, you will play a vital role in delivering plastic pipes and associated products to customers across Cardiff and the surrounding areas. As the face of the business, you'll provide a professional, friendly, and reliable service while ensuring deliveries are made safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently operate a 7.5T vehicle.
  • Deliver products to customers throughout Cardiff and the surrounding region.
  • Complete deliveries accurately and on time.
  • Load, secure, and unload goods in line with safety procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service at delivery locations.
  • Comply with all driver, vehicle, and transport legislation.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
  • Plan and follow the most efficient routes to maximise delivery performance.
  • Adhere to company Health & Safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Valid Class C1 (7.5T) Licence.
  • Driver CPC qualification.
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements within a working environment.
  • Strong knowledge of drivers' hours rules and transport regulations.
  • Ability to plan efficient delivery routes and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach to work.
