Job Introduction

We are currently recruiting for a zero hours Delivery and Collection Driver to join our team of drivers based at MG Dealership in Northampton.

The typical working week consist of 3 - 4 working days, working hours are typically 8am up to 4pm, however this would suit someone with a degree of flexibility as it will fluctuate depending on the needs of the business.

Role And Responsibilities

We require a professional and well-presented individual to handle deliveries of cars either from our service or sales department. This role would ideally suit somebody that has a passion for customer service and interaction with others. The successful candidate will be a competent and confident driver with excellent customer service skills.

  • Delivering vehicles to customers’ home or work premises
  • Providing a professional and courteous hand-over to the customer
  • Taking receipt for the collection of payments from customers where required
  • Fuelling demonstration and display cars
  • Chauffeuring company personnel or customers when required
  • Any other ad hoc/administrative duties

  • A reliable and well-presented individual
  • A full, clean, valid UK driving licence
  • Confidence when dealing with customers
  • A good knowledge of the local area
