HGV Driver - Corby

Pay: £47,815.00 per year

About NewCold

NewCold is one of the world's leading temperature-controlled logistics providers, operating a modern, growing network across the UK and beyond. As part of our transport division, you will play a critical role in keeping the cold chain moving, delivering high service standards and representing a business that genuinely invests in its people.

What You Will Earn

Our pay structure is built around rewarding the shifts you work. Night and weekend rates are higher by design, and every additional shift you choose to take on earns you a £70 bonus on top. There is also a £25 tax-free meal allowance for nights out.

Here is what our drivers are actually taking home each year across our available shift patterns:

  • 4 on 4 off (Night Shift): £47,815.00
  • 4 on 4 off (Day Shift): £40,220.00

These figures reflect real earnings including base pay, shift enhancements, and additional shift bonuses. The more shifts you choose to take on, the more you earn. It is as simple as that!

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
