Driver - Cambridge

This is a hands-on, individual contributor role where your impact comes from delivering consistently high-quality work, collaborating effectively with others and taking ownership of resources, safety, and operational standards. Role Responsibilities Overview:
- Deliver time-critical, temperature-sensitive shipments safely and on time - Ensuring no compromise to shipment integrity, compliance, or delivery timelines
- Protect the quality of highly sensitive medical and research materials - Using specialist packing techniques to maintain strict conditions throughout transport
- Provide an exceptional customer experience - Acting as a trusted and professional representative during all collections and deliveries
- Ensure complete accuracy in documentation and compliance - Supporting audits, regulations, and smooth shipment progression
- Operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment - Managing multiple priorities without compromising safety or quality
- Maintain storage conditions and operational readiness - Monitoring temperature-controlled environments and ensuring materials are always available and compliant
- Keep vehicles and equipment safe, clean and ready for use - Carrying out checks and basic maintenance to minimise disruption
- Work collaboratively to solve problems and improve processes - Contributing to a high-performing, supportive team environment

Work Environment:
- Full-time (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:30
- Fully onsite from our Cambridge office (CB22 3TJ)

What You’ll Bring:
- Full, clean Category B driving licence

How We Recruit: Once we have received your application, our Talent Acquisition (TA) team aims to respond within 3 working days. The process typically includes:
- Initial TA screening (Teams)
- Assessment Centre at our London Heathrow office which will include a highway code assessment (this is sent to you before the assessment for you to practice, interview with the hiring manager and a van driving assessment.
