Driver – Category C + HIAB
Location: Tamworth
Hours: Monday to Friday – 07:00 - 16:00
Speedy are the UK’s leading hire provider, offering the widest range of tools, specialist hire equipment, plant, and support services – everything for every job.
We’re looking for a reliable and customer-focused Category C + HIAB Driver to join our busy Tamworth team. This is a key frontline role within our National Support Centre network, responsible for ensuring our customers receive the equipment they need safely, on time, and with excellent service.

About The Role
This is a fast-paced and varied position where no two days are the same. You’ll be delivering and collecting hire equipment across the local area, working closely with depot and transport teams to keep operations running smoothly.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Delivering and collecting hire equipment safely and efficiently
- Operating HIAB equipment to load and unload vehicles
- Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Providing a professional, friendly service to customers at every visit
- Accurately completing paperwork and system updates
- Working collaboratively with depot teams to meet operational demands
- Supporting your team in delivering Speedy’s ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver

What You’ll Need
- Valid UK Category C driving licence
- HIAB certification (essential)
- Good knowledge of the local area
- Experience driving commercially within the UK
- Strong customer service skills
- A full UK manual licence with no more than 6 penalty points
