Class 1 HGV Driver – £47,291 per Annum (Plus Bonus & Benefits)
Role Overview
Fresh Direct is a top UK food business and part of Sysco GB, the world’s leading foodservice company. We’re expanding nationwide and aim to set industry standards.
Working in Bicester, this role involves delivering ambient, chilled, or frozen products to depots or local customers while ensuring safety, punctuality, and food hygiene compliance. You’ll maintain records, complete load plans, and collaborate with colleagues and clients to build strong working relationships.
Your Responsibilities
- Operate an HGV with a valid Class 1 licence and CPC while adhering to workplace safety standards
- Deliver products accurately across regional routes to depots or customers
- Ensure timely, high-quality, and hygienic delivery of goods
- Maintain detailed records, load plans, and workplace documentation
- Foster positive relationships with colleagues, supervisors, and customers

What We’re Looking For
- A qualified Class 1 HGV driver with an up-to-date CPC qualification
- Proactive approach to work and a strong commitment to excellent service
- Attention to detail and adherence to hygiene and safety protocols
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively
- Flexibility to work shift patterns (Mon–Fri, starting between 4pm–Midnight)
- A team player who values continuous improvement
