Role Overview
Play a key role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering Next Home furnishings safely and on time while providing an exceptional customer experience.
A Typical Day May Involve
- Working as part of a two-person delivery team, delivering Next Home furnishings directly to customers' homes.
- Safely handling and delivering large items ranging from 5kg to 120kg while providing excellent customer service.
- Completing between 10 and 40 deliveries per day, depending on route and customer requirements.
- Conducting vehicle checks and following all health and safety procedures throughout the working day.
- Working a rotation shift pattern, including regular weekend shifts, with start times from 6:00am and finish times typically around 4:30pm, route dependent.

This Role Would Suit People Who
- Hold a valid HGV driving licence, Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Enjoy delivering exceptional customer service and acting as the face of DHL and Next in customers' homes.
- Have home delivery experience, although this is desirable rather than essential.
- Are comfortable with physical work, including the safe handling of large and heavy items.
- Are newly qualified or experienced drivers looking to develop their skills, with full support available through our buddy system and assessment process.
