Join Our Team as a Driver at Aspire Defence Service Limited (ADSL)

Salary: £31,700 per annum
Uniform & PPE Provided
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, with opportunity to earn overtime.
Location: Tidworth/Bulford

Your Role:

  • Deliver a professional & safe transport service to the customer.
  • Correct handling and completion of company related documentation and all driving documentation, including Vehicle Utilisation Records and Daily Tasking Sheets.
  • Carry out daily vehicle walk around checks on each vehicle driven, in accordance with ADSL Transport Services Procedures.
  • Report any vehicle damage or other defects to the appropriate Customer Service Agent/vehicle scheduler.
  • Refuel, and leave all vehicles in a clean and tidy condition after use.
  • Escort contractors around site in support of Transport Services.

What We’re Looking For:

Qualifications:

  • Hold a current Driver CPC Qualification Card and Current Cat. D or D1 Licence (PSV) with no endorsements.
  • Have a Digital Tachograph Card, along with evidence of training in current Driver CPC period.

Experience:

  • Basic Knowledge of Drivers Hours and Tachograph Regulations.
  • Previous experience of a driving role within the MoD and understanding of military/transport services would be beneficial.

Skills:

  • Have strong communication skills across all levels, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness to customer needs.
  • Actively contribute to the team, embody a strong customer service ethos, and assist colleagues in optimising processes.
  • Additionally, must be physically fit with a willingness to work occasional overnight shifts and nights away when required.
