Driver HGV Class 1
Driver (HGV Class 1) – Bromley
Location: Bromley Salary: £51,123.01 per annum (includes working every other Saturday and Good Friday) Hours: 45–54 hours per week (rotating weekly) Note: May require occasional work at other sites.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Driving any HGV supplied by Veolia (following relevant training)
- Conducting daily vehicle checks and completing defect books as instructed
- Ensuring vehicles are in roadworthy condition and reporting defects to supervisors immediately
- Keeping vehicles clean and tidy (both inside and out) at all times
- Securing all loads using sheeting systems and fall arrest systems for trailer access
- Reporting accidents or incidents during shifts to enable timely reporting and investigation
- Adhering to all road traffic rules, regulations, and company safety policies
- Ensuring correct completion and submission of tachograph uploads
- Assisting with other duties when required (as directed by managers)
- Following all reasonable instructions given by the team

What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Clean UK valid driving licence (Class C & E licenses required)
- Previous driving role experience preferred
Desirable:
- Experience within the waste industry
- Experience with larger goods vehicles
