Pay & Working Hours
- Starting wage (while training): £13.65 per hour
- After successful completion of training: £15.50 per hour

Our field teams work 44 hours per week, spread over 4 days (Monday–Saturday). Shifts are typically 12 hours, but you’ll enjoy 5 days off every three weeks thanks to our rota system. Extra hours may also be available during peak periods.
Training Program
In this trainee role, you’ll develop the skills needed for high-standard installations, supported every step of the way.
Initial Training (Ipswich Training Centre)
You’ll work closely with our Service Skills Trainer to learn how to safely and effectively:
- Install washing machines and plumbed appliances
- Connect electric cooking products
- Fit integrated and built-in machines
- Wall-mount televisions
Subsequent Certifications
Upon completion, you’ll gain:
- Category C1 Driving Qualification
- Driver Certification of Professional Competence (CPC)
Role Overview
As a trainee in this role, you’ll be responsible for:

- Driving company vehicles
- Delivering and installing domestic electrical products for both sales and rental customers
- Lifting and carrying heavy/bulky items (e.g., washing machines, fridge freezers, TVs)
- Providing top-tier service to ensure customers feel valued and confident
- Promoting a safe and healthy working environment
- Meeting personal/team targets to deliver exceptional customer experiences
This role offers variety as you move from customer to customer, and we provide all necessary tools, equipment, and training to help you succeed.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills Required
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Problem-solving skills
- Flexibility (including shift/rota-based work)
- Strong communication skills
- Full UK driving licence, or equivalent
- Good physical fitness (due to lifting heavy items)
- Willingness to learn and adapt
