Business Unit: 5033 - Eurovia Roadstone

Location: Dagenham

Summary

This role requires a reliable and experienced Class 1 Driver/Plant Operative to join our dynamic team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of asphalt/aggregate and planing materials.

  • Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations
  • Participate in training and development programmes as required
  • Assist with the team in general plant duties when volumes are low or for holiday cover

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in operating plant machinery in an aggregate or construction environment (desirable)
  • Good knowledge of UK roads and motorways

Specialist Skills

  • Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
  • Driving a goods vehicle: 1 year (essential)
  • Driver CPC (Essential)
  • Digital Tachograph Card (essential)
  • Clean driving licence
  • Vocational qualifications such as MPQC, FORS, eTOTs (desirable)
