About The Role
Location: Station Rd, Ash Vale, Aldershot, GU12 5QB
Salary: £38,451.84 per annum
Start and finish times: 07.15AM - 17.00PM
Working: 45 hours per week
Must be able to work Bank Holidays
Extra £200.00 Supervisor payment per month included in salary
Will need to cover weekends when needed, i.e. holidays & sick leave
What will I be doing?
- Managing and investigating vehicle / personal incidents and any road traffic accidents.
- Investigating and resolving near miss / hazard reports.
- Weekly vehicle inspections / gate checks.
- Responsible for ensuring the downloading of VU and Drivers’ tacho cards and reviewing infringement reports with Drivers.
- Ensuring vehicles are presented for service on time and inspections (inc. LOLER) are completed as per company standards.
- Responsible for training, as well as delivering toolbox talks.
- Complete yearly driving and pre-employment driving assessments once trained.
- Debrief drivers post shift daily.
- Occasional cover for Driver sickness / absence as required (LGV licence is therefore essential).
- Weekend working needed on occasions to cover current full-time employee when he takes holiday. Can be as overtime or days of in lieu.

What are the requirements?
- It is essential to have an LGV (CAT C) Licence and Driver CPC Card.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Valid First Aid Certificate (training can be provided for the successful candidate).
- IOSH qualification (training can be provided for the successful candidate).
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), including basic PC skills – Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
