Driver Trainer
Location: Bellshill and Eurocentral Function: Distribution Contract: Full Time, Permanent Hours: 37.5 hours per week
About the Role
Position: Driver Trainer Are you an experienced Driver Trainer/Assessor or a capable HGV Driver looking to move into training? Warburtons is seeking an influential mentor to join its Distribution team in supporting the Bellshill and Eurocentral Depots (with occasional site visits). As a Driver Trainer, you’ll develop, coach, and inspire drivers to uphold the safe, professional, and high-quality driving standards Warburtons is renowned for.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver engaging driver training, assessments, and coaching for new and experienced colleagues • Support driver onboarding, ensuring compliance with all legal, safety, and company standards • Champion safe, economical, and professional driving behaviour • Serve as a trusted expert on transport legislation and compliance • Help drivers progress to higher HGV licence categories • Occasionally travel to other sites to support broader training needs

Essential Requirements
• Current Driver CPC • Class 2 (Category C) licence (minimum) • Experience as a Driver Trainer/Assessor or strong operational driving background • Excellent knowledge of transport legislation • Passion for coaching and developing others • Ability to produce clear, accurate written reports following assessments
Desirable Experience
• Class 1 (Category C+E) licence • Multi-site training experience • Advanced driver coaching techniques
