Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time (depending on availability)
Salary:
- Weekday: £12.71 per hour
- Weekend: £13.71 per hour
About The Role
We are looking for a dependable and professional driver to support the smooth running of our Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC). This role is vital in ensuring patients, staff, and essential supplies are transported safely and efficiently across our facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe and timely transport for patients, staff, and medical equipment.
- Assist with patient transfers between UTCs and other healthcare sites.
- Maintain vehicle safety checks, cleanliness, and readiness for use.
- Follow assigned schedules and routes with flexibility for urgent requests.
- Adhere to NHS and UTC policies, as well as UK road safety regulations.
- Support staff with loading/unloading equipment when required.

Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (clean record essential).
- Previous experience in patient transport or healthcare driving preferred.
- Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in urgent situations.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
