Alliance Automotive Logistics – Driver/Warehouse Operative (Dual Role)

About the Role

Comprising over 77 Distribution Centres across 8 countries, Alliance Automotive Logistics serves as the core distribution arm of Alliance Automotive Group, built on a foundation of service excellence, enduring partnerships, and a commitment to sustained value. Specialising in logistical solutions, the team delivers over 250,000 automotive parts annually to garages and repair centres across Europe, ensuring fast and efficient repairs for countless vehicles.

A Driver/Warehouse Operative position is now available for a flexible candidate to thrive in a dynamic team environment. This dual role demands the ability to transition seamlessly between commercial driving and warehouse operations, with an ideal candidate holding experience in either warehouse roles or handling commercial vehicle parts.

Key Responsibilities

Driver Duties

  • Pack and load products onto vans as per company specifications
  • Execute deliveries to clients along assigned routes
  • Maintain real-time communication with the route dispatcher
  • Unload goods according to customer specifications
  • Verify deliveries with customers to confirm product accuracy and compliance
  • Obtain delivery confirmations from recipients

Warehouse Operative Duties

  • Pick, prepare, and dispatch customer orders efficiently
  • Load vans and conduct order verification checks
  • Coordinate deliveries and oversee dispatch logistics
  • Check and store supplier deliveries, promptly reporting any shortages or damaged stock
  • Participate in rolling stock-taking programs, ensuring accurate inventory records
  • Uphold an environment of cleanliness and safety

Essential Requirements

  • Valid Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
  • Flexibility to meet operational demands and shift requirements
  • Reliable timekeeping and commitment to punctuality
  • Demonstrated understanding of commercial warehouse or automotive parts logistics (preferable but not exclusive)
