We're looking for a Casual Driver to join our Retail team. In this role, you'll safely collect and deliver donated goods between donor locations, Op Shops, and distribution sites, ensuring stock reaches the right place at the right time.

Your opportunity

As a Casual Driver, you'll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of Anglicare's Retail network by ensuring donated goods are collected and delivered safely, efficiently, and professionally.

Every collection you complete helps generate funding that supports Anglicare's community services and creates positive outcomes for people in need.

With Integrity And Care, You Will

  • Safely collect and deliver donated goods between donor locations, Op Shops, and distribution centres.
  • Load and unload furniture, clothing, and household items safely while following manual handling practices.
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service when interacting with donors, customers, and colleagues.
  • Conduct vehicle safety checks and maintain the cleanliness and presentation of company vehicles.
  • Follow all road rules, WHS requirements, and Anglicare policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with Retail teams to ensure stock is delivered accurately and on time.
  • Report vehicle issues, hazards, and incidents promptly.
  • Contribute ideas to improve delivery processes and customer experience.

What You'll Bring

  • You're a dependable and safety-focused driver who enjoys working independently while being part of a supportive team.

You Will Also Need

  • Current NSW Driver Licence (or equivalent).
  • Safe driving record.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to safely lift and move furniture and donated goods using correct manual handling techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules.

Ideally, You'll Also Have

  • Experience driving vans, light trucks, or commercial vehicles.
  • Previous experience in retail logistics, transport, or delivery services.
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.
  • A positive, team-focused attitude and willingness to help where needed.
