We currently have exciting, flexible opportunities for HGV Class 1 Night Drivers (or Cat C&E Drivers as we sometimes call them) to join our growing Maidstone depot.

- £18.55 per hour with an overtime rate of £27.83 once fulltime hours are completed.

What You’ll Do:
- Our HGV Class 1 drivers usually drive our longer routes in waves, ensuring the safe, efficient driving of vehicles from depots to our clients and other sites in the Hermes network.
- You’ll ensure parcels are collected and delivered safely, paperwork updated and assist depot staff with heavier items from time to time.
- You will be responsible for tail-lifting, both loading and unloading your own vehicle.
- Our full-time HGV Class 1 driver roles are 40 hours a week. Full time is any 5 shifts out of 7, rotas are given in advance.
Essential Skills & Experience Required:
- You’ll need a full UK driving licence with HGV Class 1 (Cat C E) entitlements, driver's CPC and digital tachograph. Newly-qualified drivers are welcome, however all drivers will need to undertake a short driving assessment.
