Drivers - Class 1 Driver
Class 1 Driver (Days) – Burton on Trent
About the Role
Our drivers are fundamental to Palletforce Logistics’ success, and we’re seeking experienced Class 1 drivers to join our team. You’ll be responsible for efficiently transporting goods across the country during daytime operational hours, ensuring our supply chain runs smoothly.
The Salary
- Yearly base salary: £35,000
- Bonus: £50 per week
- Overtime opportunities
Location
- Based at our warehouse in Burton on Trent
Key Responsibilities
As a Class 1 Driver, your duties will include:
- Various HGV driving tasks, including all necessary daily vehicle checks to confirm the vehicle is roadworthy and safe for duty.
- Strict adherence to vehicle security and documentation procedures.
- Accurate operation and maintenance of handheld terminals, ensuring timely and precise log entries.
- Completion and submission of all required paperwork to the Transport Office.
- Prompt reporting of delivery issues to ensure a smooth, uninterrupted service.
- Delivering a professional and clean driving experience, surpassing customer expectations.
- Fully complying with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Weekend availability as required.
