Join B&Q’s Home Delivery team as a Driver’s Mate with GXO, based in Doncaster (DN6 7FB).
About the Role
Here at GXO, we partner with B&Q and are recruiting a Driver’s Mate to support their Home Delivery Team. This is a full-time, permanent position, operating on an "Any 5 from 7" shift pattern, starting at 06:30. Hours range up to 48 per week.

Key Responsibilities
On a typical day, you’ll:
- Deliver kitchen and bathroom products to customers (single or multi-room drop basis)
- Assist with parking, manoeuvring, loading and unloading company vehicles
- Ensure excellence in customer service, maintaining product condition
- Keep customers informed of estimated delivery times and address any issues professionally
What We Look For
Here’s what it takes to succeed with GXO in this role:
- Experience in multi-drop home delivery is preferred but not essential
- Strong customer service skills (both written and verbal)
- Willingness to perform manual handling tasks (lifting, pulling, etc.)
- Problem-solving attitude with a can-do spirit
- Willingness to complete a DBS check
- Ability to commute to Doncaster (DN6 7FB) for shifts
