Job Title: Driver’s Mate
Location: West Thurrock, RM20 3LB
Job Length: Permanent
Working Hours: 48 hours per week, working predominantly on a Monday to Friday basis, but flexibility to work any 5 days in a 7 day period.

About the role:
If you are interested in joining our journey, we are now recruiting for a Driver’s Mate. Reporting to the Transport Shift Manager, this role will play a key part in our success journey, and you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following:
Role Responsibilities:
Supporting the driver and warehouse teams in loading/unloading of stock. Supporting the driver with the most efficient traffic routes to help you both get to each location and back home as quickly and safely as possible. Building brilliant working relationships with your customers and other departments Holding health and safety at the forefront of all processes.
Experience and Key Attributes:
Prior experience working as a driver’s mate, drayman or within a warehouse desirable however not required. Customer service Manual handling experience and/or training desirable, however full training will be provided during induction. Knowledge of local region.
