Job Title: Drivers Mate
As part of a two-person team, you’ll collect products and goods safely and efficiently to designated locations within set timeframes, ensuring optimal customer satisfaction.

About the Role
As Drivers Mate, your responsibilities include:
- Assisting the driver with maintaining accurate records of consignments:
- Completing Proof of Deliveries (PODS) correctly.
- Recording shortages/damages to keep the transport system updated.
- Supporting the driver in daily vehicle checks & defect reporting to ensure vehicle roadworthiness & transport safety.
- Unloading goods safely, efficiently, considerately and politely at customer premises, prioritising care & dipproachcess in all public interactions.
- Ensuring high standards of vehicle security/welfare whilst loading and unloading, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel.
- General housekeeping to uphold a clean & tidy operational site.
- Adhere to health & safety regulations, including Company & customer-specific safety measures, whilst operating responsibly.
