Driver’s Mate – Carlsberg Britvic

Location: Cardiff, CF3 2ES Job Type: Permanent Working Hours: 48 hours per week Flexibility: Predominantly Monday to Friday, but may vary to suit business needs

About the Role

We are recruiting for a Driver’s Mate, reporting to the Transport Manager, to play a crucial role in our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the driver and warehouse teams in loading and unloading stock
  • Optimise traffic routes to ensure efficient deliveries and quick returns
  • Build strong working relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Prioritise health and safety in all processes

Experience & Key Attributes

  • Desirable (but not mandatory): Prior experience as a Driver’s Mate, Drayman, or within a warehouse environment
  • Customer service focus essential
  • Desirable (but provided during induction): Manual handling experience/training
  • Beneficial: Knowledge of the local region
