Define the Brand DNA of VinFast Vehicles
Define the brand DNA of VinFast vehicles from the perspective of the complete driving experience – how they drive, ride, sound, and feel.
- Lead the development of attribute cascades that translate customer expectations and brand values into engineering requirements and measurable targets.
- Establish standards, guidelines, and processes to ensure driving experience is consistently delivered across all VinFast vehicle lines.
- Collaborate with attribute managers (NVH, Vehicle Dynamics, Efficiency, Thermal, Safety, Durability, Electrical, etc.) to integrate their targets into a cohesive driving experience strategy.
- Benchmark competitor vehicles to identify best-in-class driving experience elements and apply learnings to VinFast’s brand DNA.
- Conduct subjective assessments and direct tuning sessions to refine ride, handling, and overall vehicle feel.
- Provide leadership to attribute teams, ensuring cross-functional alignment to deliver a unique and consistent VinFast driving experience.
- Communicate vision, progress, and decisions clearly to senior management, articulating the defining characteristics of VinFast’s brand identity in terms of driving experience.
Requirements
Degree/Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related fields.

Experience:
- Over 10 years of experience in vehicle development with a focus on driving experience, ride, handling, and customer-focused attribute delivery.
- Deep expertise in defining and delivering holistic vehicle driving experiences, including steering feel, ride comfort, handling balance, NVH, and overall dynamic character.
- Proven ability to translate abstract brand values into tangible, measurable, and repeatable vehicle attributes that define brand DNA.
- Strong background in vehicle dynamics, NVH, ergonomics, efficiency, safety, and perceived quality, ensuring a holistic perspective on vehicle feel.
- Experience in benchmarking competitor vehicles to extract and evaluate differentiating characteristics in the customer experience.
- Demonstrated leadership in setting cross-attribute targets that align to brand identity and customer expectations.
- Hands-on experience with subjective evaluations, test drives, and tuning activities at proving grounds and on-road conditions.
- Proven record of working with global teams to integrate engineering excellence with customer-focused performance outcomes.
Other Skills:
- Strong leadership and vision, with the ability to influence across multiple technical domains.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, capable of articulating abstract concepts in clear engineering terms.
- Highly analytical with strong subjective assessment skills, combining technical expertise with an intuitive feel for vehicle character.
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments, balancing technical precision with brand-driven creativity.
- Passion for driving and creating world-class customer experiences.
